DIPP scouts for creative agency for Start Up India drive

The Department of Industry Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce, is on the lookout for a creative agency for the Government’s Start Up India initiative.

DIPP intends to undertake international promotion and media campaign across all mediums (print, electronic, social media, collaterals) in India and across the world to brand India as an investment destination for start-ups. The objective of the campaign is to generate awareness about the investment opportunities and prospects of the country, the Start Up Action Plan, and to promote India as a preferred investment destination for new entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas.

Development of an interactive website is also planned to be undertaken.

Through its overseas media campaign, DIPP intends to project and showcase India as a favoured investment destination, especially for the new entrepreneurs bringing about new products and services through innovation and designs.

DIPP proposes to appoint the creative agency for designing and production of the required creative and publicity material and to provide a creative vision and strategy for taking forward the campaign to make India a favoured investment destination for Start-ups based on innovative business.

Last date for submission of proposals by creative agencies is 5 pm on April 7, 2016. Preference shall be given to new start-ups (partnership firms, LLP and private limited companies not older than five years and having turnover less than Rs 25 crore).
