Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim wins Bigg Boss Season 12

After enthralling the viewers for more than 3 months, Colors’ marquee property, ‘Bigg Boss’ wrapped up Season 12 last night (December 30, 2018) as it announced Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim as the winner. Romil Chaudhury, Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim, Karanvir Bohra, Deepak Thakur and Sreesanth were the five finalists for this season. 

Appy Fizz presents ‘Bigg Boss’ powered by OPPO F9 Pro saw Ibrahim walk away with a reward of Rs 30 lakh and the coveted trophy. Sreesanth and Deepak Thakur were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

After playing roles as a television bahu, Ibrahim’s journey in ‘Bigg Boss’ wasn’t a smooth one as she received much criticism for her dominant nature. However, Ibrahim managed to win over the audience by performing every task with utmost determination and playing the game with dignity. She managed to surpass her co-contestants with her confidence and perseverance. 

Commenting on her victory, Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim, said, “The feeling that follows after being declared the winner of ‘Bigg Boss’ is something that I cannot put into words. ‘Bigg Boss 12’ Grand finale ended with a wide array of performances celebrating the season as host Salman Khan grooved along with the five finalists. Adding action to the finale night filmmaker and ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ host Rohit Shetty along with daredevils Ridhima Pandit, Aditya Narayan and Jasmine Bhasin. Amongst all the fun, the audience were also introduced to the new members of the Colors’ family – Raghu and Dhanak from ‘Gathbandhan’, and Kesari and Hanumant Singh from ‘Kesari Nandan’.
