Diageo retains Mindshare as media agency for India after global review

Following a global review of its planning and buying duties, drinks major Diageo has decided on its media agency partners. WPP’s Mindshare has been retained to handle the media duties for India and South Africa.

The media duties for North America, Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia will be handled by Dentsu Aegis Network.

Meanwhile, the media duties for Australia will be overseen by Publicis Groupe’s Mediavest.

Diageo’s portfolio includes brands such as Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Guinness and Captain Morgan, among others.
