Cristiano Ronaldo replaces David Beckham as Armani model

One of the world's best footballers, Cristiano Ronaldo, has been signed by fashion brand Armani to replace fellow football great ' David Beckham. Ronaldo will be Emporio Armani's model for its underwear and jeans range. The global advertising campaign will have billboard ads featuring the 24 year old football star starting Spring/Summer 2010.

The Portuguese stud is a member of Spanish club Real Madrid and also plays for the national Portuguese team. David Beckham was the face (and near naked body!) of Armani's Men's Underwear collection and also did a seductive photoshoot with her wife, Victoria Beckham.

Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo is the most expensive signing in the fashion brand Armani's history.
