Comedy Central is all set to amplify your happiness quotient with Mega-hit flicks and new shows!

This November, Comedy Central – Your #HappyPlace! is already getting its groove on for the countdown to the New Year by expanding its comedy offering with the launch of Blockbustered the new block of mega-hit flicks and the new line-up of shows.

In addition to the viewers’ favourites, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, The Great Indoors, Man With A Plan, Dr. Ken, The Mindy Project, Awkward and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Comedy Central will up the ante with the Indian Television premiere of an all new show, Angie Tribeca. Some beloved picks like Odd Mom Out and Deadbeat will also be back with new seasons.

In continuation with its exuberant movie line-up, as a part of CC Blockbustered, the channel will air Anger Management, Click, Spanglish and Bewitched this month. The films will air on Sunday afternoons, 12 noononwards, with a primetime repeat at 9 PM.

Commenting on the new line-up, Hashim D’Souza, Head of Programming English Entertainment, Viacom 18, shared, “While we have always received an overwhelming response to our show line-up, time and again, the feedback for CC Blockbustered has been rather impressive! Show: Odd Mom Out Season 2

Synopsis:

Having won a Gracie Allen Award for ‘Outstanding Comedy’, the show chronicles the lives of ultra-wealthy mommies living in New York’s Upper East Side. It follows the story of Jill Weber who lives in an ecosystem that has become so elite, hip and trendy that she now finds herself as the ‘odd mom out’!

Synopsis:

With a satirical take on police procedural shows, the show has been created by Steve Carell, starring Rashida Jones as the titular police detective, Angie Tribeca.

Show: Deadbeat Season 3

Synopsis:

The show follows the life of Kevin Pacalioglu, a medium for hire, who attempts to solve various ghosts’ unresolved problems, so that they can move on to a final resting place, with the help of his best friend, Roofie, who also happens to be a drug dealer.

Click is a 2006 American fantasy comedy film produced by Adam Sandler, who also starred in the lead role. The film co-stars Kate Beckinsale as his wife Donna and Christopher Walken. A workaholic architect finds a universal remote that allows him to fast-forward and rewind to different parts of his life. Complications arise when the remote starts to overrule his choices.

Synopsis:

Spanglish is a 2004 American romantic comedy-drama film starring Adam Sandler, Paz Vega, and Téa Leoni. A woman and her daughter emigrate from Mexico for a better life in America, where they start working for a familywhere the patriarch is a newly celebrated chef with an insecure wife.

Bewitched is a 2005 American romantic comedy fantasy film written, produced, and directed by Nora Ephron, and starring Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell. Thinking he can overshadow an unknown actress in the part, an egocentric actor unknowingly gets a witch cast in an upcoming television remake of the classic sitcom Bewitched.

This Children’s Day, Comedy Central is celebrating the child inside us all because even senior citizens can play pranks on unsuspecting youngsters. There’s nothing better than Betty White’s Off Their Rockers on TV to encapsulate just that!

Show: F.R.I.E.N.D.S – Thanksgiving Day Special

Date: Thursday, 24th November | Time: 2 PM onwards

Synopsis:

The most popular show, FRIENDS, is the one show that is incomplete without its Thanksgiving episodes! While the show is known for its iconic storylines and characters, there is no other show that comes straight to your mind when you think of Thanksgiving!
