Can Trolls and the rest of the Internet coexist?

After the resounding success of #ProgressiveWoman Twitter Panel on Women’s Day, and following the course of recent events, Adgully will host another Twitter Panel on the subject of Troll Culture. Trolls and Trolling is an ever-present reality of the digital era. They are becoming a force to be reckoned with on social media and are being leveraged by a few ingenious brands  and political parties for their own promotional purposes.

However, trolling as a culture is rooted in bullying and is also responsible for the toxic environment that is prevalent in social media, especially for women. The freedom of the Internet allows Troll media culture to subsist, but as Trollers continue to test the limits of their freedom, the question arises how much freedom on the web is too much?

To tackle such grey areas and more, we have invited guest panelists across the industry spectrum on the panel – Hello, I am an Internet Troll. Problem? The panel will be held on Tuesday, 19th March between 3 pm and 4 pm on our official Twitter handle - @adgully.

We invite you to join us in these discussions and share your opinions.
