Bhabhiji and Jijaji won awards at Dadasaheb Phalke Awards!

Producer duo Sanjay & Binaiferr Kohli  (Edit II) are in a happy space. They are the producers of popular daily shows “ Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai”  (& TV) and “Jijaji Chaat Per Hai”  (Sab TV)and on Sunday evening at the esteemed Dadasaheb Phalke Awards for Excellence in Cinema and TV two of their shows have received eight awards. The winning categories are Best Serial - Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai (Sanjay Kohli & Binaiferr Kohli), Best Actor - Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai (Rohitashv Gaud)  Best Actress- Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai (Shubhangi Atre Poorey)  Best Director- Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai (Shashank Bali), Best Writer- Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai (Manoj Santoshi), Best Cameo- Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai (Charul Malik), Best Actor - Jijaji Chaat Par Hai (Anup Upadhyay), Best Romantic Pair - Jijaji Chaat Par Hai (Hiba Nawab & Nikhil Khurana). The team attended the awards in full strength as a family and showed amazing bonding. Sanjay says,"I feel honoured with all the felicitation. The hard work and dedication of the team have paid off. Both the shows has amazing viewership specially Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai. Film director Ashok Pandit on stage shared that his mother was in ICU and was to be discharged so she requested that she wants to go on time because she wanted t ocatch up the episode of Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai.  Also Siddharth Kanan who was the host for the award night mentioned his kid and wife both of them are glued to television when Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai show comes. Whole cast of Bhabhi Ji was present at the award ceremony who cheered up the winners, the team bonds like a big family and they share a lot of warmth and love with each other.

 

  The low profile producer duo is known for their excellent comedy shows and Sanjay Kohli is even called the Comedy King of TV.
