Best friends make good times better and hard times easier!

As they say Friendship is like Chinaware- rich, exquisite and rare. From sharing school tiffin to getting punished together in class, from being there for each other in times of success and having each other’s backs during hard times- friendship is a bond that knows no caste, no creed, but only pure love and affection. A bond that weaves in two people together, transcending all boundaries.

Not just diamonds, even true friendship is forever, and something worth living and dying for. Harping on this message of friendship, Star Jalsha presents a story of two orphans, Guriya and Guddu, who fight against all obstacles together to fulfill each other’s dreams. While they grow up together in an orphanage in North Bengal, with them evolve a friendship of a lifetime. When Guriya meets with an accident and is diagnosed with a serious illness, Guddu decides to unite her with her family, making all ends meet. The story revolves around how Guddu, with all his might and love for Guriya, goes out of his way, and embarks upon a journey to find Guriya’s family in a faraway city. Will Guddu succeed in his endeavor to find Guriya’s family and save her life?

The ensemble cast of Guriya Jekhane Guddu Sekhane comprises of two fresh child actors, Pritha (who plays Guriya) and Abhirup (who plays Guddu), along with ace actors like Miss JOJO (Romila Chetri), Pushpita (Nitmala) and Bhola Tamang (Mr. Bhanja).

The music has been composed by Upali Chattopadhyay and Sobuj Asish which, we hope will resonate in the minds of our viewers.
