BARC Wk 25: In FIFA WC month, not much turbulence seen in Hindi GECs, yet

BARC ratings for Week 25 (June 16-22) [HSM (U+R): NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] continued in the same vein of last week, without any major turbulence among the top 10 Hindi GECs. ‘Naagin 3’ continued as the most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban, followed by the ‘Kundali Bhagya’ and 'Kumkum Bhagya’ combine on Zee TV. 

Zee Anmol continued to be placed in the numero uno spot in Week 25, garnering a gross viewership of 745,706, an increase from 772,625 recorded last week. Re-run of the hit show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, which had slipped to the fourth spot among most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban last week, continued in this position with 10,443 (000) Impressions.  

Sony Pal, too, has retained its second spot in Week 25 as well. However, the channel has seen a decline in its gross viewership – from 616,233 recorded in Week 24 to 599,068 this week. 

Zee TV remained unchanged in the third spot this week with a gross viewership of 572,708, an increase from 552,159 recorded in Week 24. Spin-off show, ‘Kundali Bhagya’, was again ranked No. 2 this week with 12,297 (000) impressions, while marquee show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, remained in the third spot with 11,382 (000) Impressions.  

Continuing in the fourth spot in Week 25, Star Bharat saw an increase in its gross viewership to 568,791 from 544,769, recorded last week.  

Colors continued in the fifth spot in Week 25, recording a gross viewership of 556,889, an increase from 529,007, recorded last week. Colors’ prime property, ‘Naagin 3’, continued as the most watched show in Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban with 14,559 (000) Impressions. Also contributing to Colors’ overall performance is talent hunt show, ‘Dance Deewane’, which is placed at No. 5 with 8,913 (000) Impressions.  

Meanwhile, Star Utsav, climbed up a notch to be back at No. 6 this week, garnering a gross viewership of 491,102, an increase from 474,052 recorded in Week 24. 

Rishtey, too, climbed up a notch to No. 7 in Week 25. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 487,121, an increase from 463,939, recorded last week.  

On the other hand, Star Plus slipped a couple of notches to No. 8 in Week 25, garnering a gross viewership of 462,775, a decline from 504,957 recorded last week. 

There was no change in the positions of Sony SAB and Sony Entertainment Television in Week 25 as well.  

Sony SAB continued at No. 9 with a gross viewership of 355,389, a slight decline from 358,727 recorded last week. Sony Entertainment Television remained unchanged at No. 10 in Week 25, garnering a gross viewership of 312,771, as against 317,129 recorded last week.
