Balaji Telefilms Limited Strengthens Its Leadership

Balaji Telefilms Limited has made two key senior hires. It has roped in Aashish Singh as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Balaji Motion Pictures and Ashish Pinto as head of Human Resources. These appointments are in line with Balaji Telefilms enhancing its organisation strength to drive enhanced success with its film business.

Aashish Singh has been an accomplished executive movie producer, with over 15 years of domain experience. He has been associated with some of the most popular Bollywood films like Tiger Zinda Hai, Sultan, Dhoom 2 and 3 and Chak de India amongst others. In his last stint he was Vice President Production at Yash Raj Films and was responsible for all the aspects pertaining to production. He was instrumental in building partnerships with international locations for film shoots and managed co-productions, acquisitions, production services and line production of international projects in India. Aashish also holds the record for having helmed the maximum number of films in Hindi as an Executive Producer. In his new role as CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures, he will report to the Group Chief Operating Officer, Nachiket Pantvaidya.

Ashish Pinto comes with a rich experience of over 23 years as a practicing HR professional in industries such as Media & Entertainment, Consulting and Technology and has been associated with companies like Bennett &  Coleman, Network 18, Sakal, Hewitt and Capgeminiamongst others. He brings great skills in talent development, talent acquisition, HR processes and organizational transformation. In his current role as head of Human Resources for Balaji Telefilms, he will be reporting to Sanjay Dwivedi, Group Chief Financial Officer.
