Ayushmann Khurrana plays bartender for Black & White Scotch whisky
Black & White Scotch Whisky teams up with multi-talented Ayushmann Khurrana to celebrate #LoveScotch, a global Diageo movement bringing people together to celebrate their love for scotch. Ayushmann Khurrana personified Black & White Scotch’s warm and friendly personality as he moonlighted as a Bartender at Mumbai’s Bombay Canteen for a fun social experiment. People’s reactions were captured through hidden cameras as Ayushmann surprised people by popping up from behind the bar and made light hearted conversations, engaged with witty digs, amusing antics and hilarious backstories to not being Ayushmann as he played his role of bartender to perfection
The atmosphere at the bar got electrified in minutes once Ayushmann was recognised. From challenging his guest to an arm duel, to whipping up a cocktail with his fans as they took selfies, bright smiles and a whole load of chatter and laughter filled the air. Ayushmann in his own special musical style wished his fan on her birthday. He portrays a wide range of emotions, everything that has made him a fan favourite – his infectious smile, the naughty boy next door charm and the ability to strike up a conversation at the drop of a measuring glass.
On bagging his latest role in #LoveScotch, Ayushmann Khurrana said, “I love interacting with people and sharing special moments. I enjoyed being a part of the Black & White social experiment, though it started with me being a little nervous as I have never been behind the bar outside my house but in the end we had an absolute blast full of great personal moments.”
The #LoveScotch campaign raises a toast to the unique, character, flavour and personality of Johnnie Walker, Black and White, Black Dog and Vat 69, as it invites millennials into the world of Scotch. As a part of the #LoveScotch initiative, consumers can also personalize their favourite bottle of scotch through www.lovescotch.co.in, creating labels with thoughtful messages and photographs that help them value connections and celebrate the power of sharing.
