Avengers: Endgame’ opens with 1.5 million ticket bookings on Paytm

Avengers: Endgame has clocked the fastest-ever sale of 1.5 million tickets on Paytm. Since this is believed to be the last movie of the Avengers franchise, Marvel fans across the country have shown immense support to the movie by going all out to book their tickets. The platform has also left no stone unturned to delight its customers by launching ‘Marvel Pass’ and ‘Avengers Pass’, which enables them to watch two Marvel franchise movies at the cost of Rs. 199. 

Madhur Deora, CFO, Paytm said, “For ‘Avengers: Endgame’, we are seeing record-breaking demand for the tickets, receiving more than 2.5 lakh requests per minute when the bookings opened on Saturday night. We are treating 1,000 super-fans for First day, First show IMAX screenings. More than half a million people bought Paytm's Marvel and Avengers Pass before the bookings opened. With these Passes, fans can enjoy up to Rs. 250 Cashback and save big on movie tickets."
