Ajmal & Sons Appoints Saurav Bhattacharya as President Operations

Mr. Saurav Bhattacharya recently joined Ajmal Perfumes as the President Operations.  Saurav is a management professional and a qualified engineer. He has 26 years of diverse experience in strategic & operational Business Leadership across diversified sectors that include FMCG, Textile & Apparel, Fashion Retail, Financial Instructions & Payment Systems, etc.

His core responsibilities include Leading and Managing P&L, Heading Sales & Customer Management, Marketing, Branding & Strategy functions, with an in-depth experience of ecommerce strategizing & execution.

Saurav, in his current responsibilities as President- Operations at Ajmal & Sons will look into developing the fragrance business through the self-owned Retail, Modern Trade, distributors & wholesale and take major steps for E-commerce business. He is also responsible for developing new business opportunities for Ajmal & Sons across categories which are adjacencies to the current fragrance business.

Saurav is an engineer by background & brings his business skills from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad with majors in Business Education program. Over the course of his career, he has held several leadership positions with companies like Raymond, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Visa, Sahara India & Nakshatra World.
