Abbys Day 3: Viacom18, Dentsu Webchutney, Cheil India top metals tally

The concluding day of Goafest 2019 saw Creative Abby awards being given away in Video Craft, Radio Craft, Branded Content & Entertainment, Digital & Mobile, Digital Craft, Out of Home, Ambient Media/ Activation, Still Print, Audio Visual TV/ Cinema, Audio Visual Digital, Integrated, Young Abby Awards, Special Abby (Gender Sensitive), and National Geographic Green Award. 

Creative Company of the Year 

Viacom18 Media was adjudged Creative Company of the Year, bagging a total of 7 metals, which included 1 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze Abbys. 

Cheil India followed with a metals tally of 5 – 3 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze Abby. 

Another Gold winner was Helios Media, which won for its Road Safety Campaign done for Ministry of Road Transport & Highways. 

Placed at third spot was Dentsu Webchutey, also with 5 metals. But the agency scored 1 Silver and 4 Bronze Abbys. 

FCBIndia took home 3 Bronze Abbys. The agency also won the Young Abby Award. 

Innocean Worldwide’s tally included 2 Silver Abbys. Grey India won 1 Silver and 1 Bronze; while Bundl Technologies, which operates food ordering and delivery platform Swiggy, bagged 2 Bronze Abbys. K Silent’s tally included 2 Silver Abbys. 

Autumn Grey, Open Strategy & Design, and Sideways Consulting won 1 Silver Abby each. 

Digital Specialist Agency of the Year 

Dentu Webchutney, which had put up impressive wins yesterday at the Creative Abbys, kept up the strong show today as well, being adjudged Digital Specialist Agency of the Year. The agency scored a total of 16 metals – 3 Gold, 4 Silver and 9 Bronze Abbys. 

Placed second here as well was Cheil India, which took home 8 metals, including 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze Abbys. 

Another Gold winner in this category was Autum Grey

WATConsult’s metals tally included 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze Abbys; while BC Web Wise took home 2 Silver and 1 Bronze Abbys. FCBIndia won 1 Silver Abby. 

Brave New World, Interaction One, Isobar and The Glitch won 1 Bronze Abby each. 

Branded Content & Entertainment Specialist Agency of the Year 

Cheil India put up a strong show in this category, coming up tops with a win of 2 Gold Abbys, both of whom were won for its campaign, titled ‘The Real Kashmir’, done for Adidas India. 

FCBIndia followed with 1 Gold and 1 Silver Abby. The Gold was won for campaign done for Horlicks, called ‘Horlicks Fearless Songs’. Ignite Mudra took home 3 Bronze Abbys, while Street Talk a divison of Signpost India secured 2 Bronze Abbys. 

Hakuhodo, Mindshare, Radio Mirchi, and Whats Your Problem – Medulla Network bagged 1 Silver Abby each. 

Securing 1 Bronze Abby each were Dentsu Webchutney, Innocean, LIQVD Asia, and River Advertising

With a win of 5 metals – 3 Gold and 2 Bronze Abbys – Hungry Films was adjudged Video Craft Specialist of the Year. A 3 Golds were won for the campaign, ‘The world’s most honest tourism’ done for Madhya Pradesh Tourism. Asylum Films was the other Gold winner in this category, which was won for the ‘Durex Air’ film done for Durex. 

Special Abby (Gender Sensitive) 

Happy mcgarrybowen and FCBIndia won 1 Gold Abby each. While Happy mcgarrybowen won the Gold for its campaign ‘Ola - #MyIndependenceDay’ campaign; the ‘Ladki haath se nikal jayegi’ campaign done for Mahindra & Mahindra fetched the Gold for FCBIndia. 

UrbanClap Technologies and Isobar won 1 Bronze each in this category. 

In Integrated Abbys, Cheil India bagged the Gold for its campaign ‘The Real Kashmir’ done for Adidas India, while Open Strategy & Design bagged a Silver for its campaign ‘We refuse to be silenced’ done for Mumbai Press Club. 

A total of 7 metals were given away for National Geographic Green Award. Dentsu Webchutney scored 3 Silver Abbys in this category, while FCBIndia scored 2 Bronze Abbys and Ignite Mudra as well as RepIndia took home 1 Bronze Abby each.
