92.7 BIG FM celebrates Ramzan in an unique manner

The holy month of Ramzan, is celebrated with much joy, gusto and happiness across the country. 92.7 BIG FM, one of the largest radio networks in India yet again stood by its ethos of providing entertainment with a purpose. With the intent of playing a meaningful, relevant and compelling role in the lives of listeners, BIG FM celebrated the true spirit of Ramzaan in Hyderabad. The radio station along with Shadab Hotel fed the local delicacy of Biryani to 92 kids, from a local NGO, to celebrate Dawat-e-Ramzaan. which is known to unite people through various initiatives,

The intent was to sponsor and support underprivileged kids who not only suffer from malnutrition but hardly get the chance to enjoy a scrumptious food experience outside. To encourage the good deed, present at the occasion was well-known actor, writer, and director from the Telugu industry, Vishwak Sen along with RJ Shekar, RJ Krish and RJ Grace from BIG FM. The radio station further engaged with locals on-ground and on-air to seek the importance of the festival in their lives.

Commenting on the initiative, BIG FM spokesperson said,“BIG FM has always believed in spreading smiles and increasing the happiness quotient on-air and off-air. We are more than glad to associate with Shadab Hotel, who joined hands with us for such a good cause. We spend so much when we dine out at any good restaurant but rarely gave a thought to the condition of these underprivileged kids who often struggle to get even one decent meal.  We are humbled to receive a helping hand from well-known actor Vishwak Sen, who took some time out of his busy schedule to encourage the entire BIG FM team. We are hoping to create more and more milestones with such initiatives which act as a catalyst in the growth of society.”

The initiative that offered kids a priceless moment to cherish while catering to hunger was also broadcasted on the radio station’s digital platforms thereby providing a perfect combination of audio and visual delight to listeners across the city.
