TBWAINDIA awarded silver at APAC Effies for Snapchat counsellors

At the APAC Effies held in Singapore, TBWAIndia’s campaign for Snapchat Counsellors was awarded Silver.

The campaign for Snap Counsellors leveraged the unique attribute of its medium to address a real need among abused youth where they can seek professional help and advice in a discreet manner.

‘Snapchat allowed LoveDoctor.in and Chayn India to create an important platform, which now reaches a previously reluctant group of venerable youth too ashamed to speak of their abuse. With messages deleted in 10 seconds, victims felt safe and secure sharing their stories with counsellors on the discreet platform,” said Govind Pandey, CEO TBWAIndia

Snap Counsellors has been billed as the world’s first teen abuse helpline on Snapchat and has been the inspiration of similar helplines across other markets.

This win comes close on the heels of other recognitions for the platform including: D&AD Impact Awards, Graphite Pencil, Kyoorius Creative Awards, Cannes Cyber Lion shortlist.
