The festive season of Christmas is here once again to perk up everyone’s spirits and spread love and joy all around us. Radio City 91.1 FM has come up come up with ‘Radio City Christmas’ on web radio, PlanetRadiocity, this Christmas.  India’s premium web radio and multi-content portal, PlanetRadiocity is all set to enthrall listeners with a brand new stream this Christmas – aptly called Radio City Christmas. Listeners can tune in to their favourite Christmas carols and songs, all day long, on this exclusive dedicated stream. The month-long stream went live from the 12th of December.

Christmas hymns and carols are a quintessential part of Christmas, which brings in the spirit of warmth and festivity. This year Radio Mirchi X’mas special brings Mirchi par dhoondo Santa ki hansi!! On 24th & 25th December the station will air a 2 day  fun contest where listeners are asked to look out for Santa’s laughter i.e  "ho ho ho" in songs. They are meant to call in as soon as they hear the word "ho" in the lyrics of any song. Citing an example "kyunki tum hi ho or Aaye ho  meri zindagi mein tum bahar ban ke" etc. Those listeners who identify the songs correctly will receive attractive goodies from the RJ’s of Radio Mirchi.

Fever 104 FM, the fastest growing radio company has lined up innovative programming initiatives around Christmas this year. The station has planned activities with great listener engagement across its Delhi, Mumbai & Kolkata station. The Delhi station, which is also the No.1 station in the city, has planned a campaign called ‘Santa Claus nahi Santa Clues’. Most of us wish something or the other from Santa, but this time the station is asking listeners to guess the location of Fever Santa. Clues will be given out on air for people to guess where Santa is and those who get it right will walk away with exciting gifts.

Fever 104 FM Mumbai is taking a fun imaging this Christmas and is sending musical wishes to Santa. From rising petrol prices to traffic issues, Mumbaikars have made wishes right through the year to Santa, the station is creating a musical wish list and asking Santa to fulfil these this year. Fever 104 FM Kolkata in association with Development Action Society is going the CSR way. The breakfast show RJ, Shekhar, will become Santa himself and will give away gifts to underprivileged children of Bidyadhar School, Haltu. The station is also inviting listeners to be a part of this celebration. The talented kids from the school will make canvas paintings, which will be put up on auction and the auction money will go to the society.

Now coming to television channels Comedy Central has lined up  an interesting and entertaining  programmes for their viewers. The channel  is launching a special show for the last week of the year called ‘Laugh 2013 Off’. The show will see five best shows of 2013 airing Wednesday, December 24 – Tuesday, December 31 from 5.00pm – 10.00pm. The five shows that will air include Anger Management, Suits, Whitney, Awkward and Outsourced which will air for one hour each.
Where music channel Vh1 is concerned it has associated itself with many parties across cities in India. Also, the Vh1 Supersonic is the biggest party happening this year at Goa.
