Rahul Joshi joins Network18 as CEO News

Rahul Joshi part of the biggest media house Bennett, Coleman & Co Ltd (BCCL), has called it a day as editorial director of the country’s largest business daily The Economic Times (ET).  He is joining Network18 Media & Investments Ltd as CEO, News and group editor-in-chief. The Network18 Media & Investment is controlled by Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries Ltd.

In a prepared statement “Network 18 Media & Investments Ltd has informed BSE that Mr Rahul Joshi has been appointed as Editor-in-Chief of the Network18 group and designated as CEO News and Group Editor-in-Chief,”

Joshi became resident editor of the newspaper's Delhi edition in 2004, while during his initial time in ET he was handling the Brand Equity, a weekly supplement on marketing and advertisement with ET. In 2006 after Rajrishi Singhal moving into a different role, Joshi was moved to the position of Editorial Director from Executive Editor.
