Pratik Seal moves base from Life OK to Star Utsav as Business Head

Pratik Seal who joined Life OK in 2012 as the Marketing Head, will now be heading business for Star Utsav. He will be the first business head for the channel.

Prior to joining STAR group, Seal was Marketing Head at Micromax. He began his professional career as an account executive with Basic4 Advertising and now stands with an experience of 15 years in the industry. After spending two years with the company, he moved to Ties2Family.com as an assistant manager at marketing and then worked as senior account executive with FCB Ulka. Post that he joined  Lowe Lintas as a senior brand services manager and within three years, he was promoted to the position of senior brand services director. He later joined Vodafone as senior manager, marketing in April 2006. In December 2007, he joined as the senior manager - marketing in Samsung.

Seal's experience in brand management, strategic planning, advertising and communication, key account management, product development insights, media planning, event management and public relations have helped him gauge through various verticals and climb up the leadership ladder.

Though no official announcement has been made, sources close to the development have stated that Seal has already joined Star Utsav and will be reporting to Gaurav Banerjee, GM, Star Plus.
