NEWS 24 in a new avatar, promises young content

Broadcast 24 flagship channel NEWS 24 gets a new refreshing and Bold looks starting today.

The new look will embody a new logo and follows the decision of the Network to refresh the Channel looks to make it more youthful and smarter.

Broadcast 24 new CEO R. K. Arora said : "In a competitive marketplace, you need strong brands that jump out of the EPG, the rebranding of News24 with smarter and vibrant colours, combined with exciting new program line which will be more analytical and with substance will provide our viewers a distinctive channel. We have strengthened the distribution of the channel and we are proud to say that our channel is available on all cable and DTH platforms. We have built our own sales team and have and picked some of the most sorted sales and marketing people from the industry. We are sure that our new recharged team with aggressive sales strategy will take our network revenues to the newer heights."

The channel has also revamped complete graphics and packaging to give it a new refreshed look. With the new look, News 24 is set to grab eye balls amongst Hindi news viewers across the country.

Apart from its changed looks, the channel will now boast of a fresh programming line-up targeting youth and affluent news viewers which will differentiate it from other Hindi news channels.

The re-branded channel is packaged with cutting edge and innovative graphics which will provide more scope to advertisers to undertake innovative advertising options on the channel.

The Network has chalked out an aggressive 360 degree marketing plan to back up the facelift of News24.

Talking of News 24, CMD BAG Network, Anurradha Prasad said, "The rationale behind News24 rebranding comes from our constant endeavour to listen and respond to changing market dynamics. We believe that the new look and our new programming lineup will pull new audiences to our channel. The channel is already available on all Analog & Digital platforms. Moreover, the channel share from the beginning of this year has grown by 32% , the time spent per viewer has increased by 31% and the GRP has risen by 37% from Week 1, 2011 to week 18, 2011 Source (TAM: CS 15+ HSM, Week 1-18)
