Natak Pictures is back with a 'Baraat'

With a motive to change the perception of youngsters towards arranged marriages, Natak Pictures, a popular short film production house, is back with its fifth shortfilm-Unarranged. The film was released on June 11, 2017.

Unarranged is a light-hearted sweet shortfilm that, through the story of a young 'about-to get-married' couple, attempts to restore your faith in arranged marriages and the fact that arranged marriages are not as scary as they are thought to be.

"The very anxiety on the faces of today's youngsters, when asked about marriages, shows how unwilling and scared the current generation is to get into marriages, especially arranged marriages. Social evils like like dowry, etc have made the youth negate the very concept of Arranged
marriages, today. This motivated us to make this film, " says Rahul Bhatnagar, founder, Natak Pictures.

Rahul Bhatnagar, also the film director, has wisely chosen the cast for the film. Playing a sharp finicky Kanpuriya bride is Tanya Singh, who recently made her acting debut as Sam in the popular we series-The Good Girls Show and opposite to her is Syed Shabahat Ali, playing the role of a sweet and simple groom from Allahabad.

Amidst engaging script, amazing direction and flawless acting, the background music of the film, given by Arjun Asthana, stole the show.

"Natak Pictures will soon be coming up with an entertaining web-series, on a completely new yet highly relate-able topic," says Rahul Bhatnagar.
