MUKTA A2 CINEMAS and Sounds of Silence Foundation initiate a program for World Disability Day

 MUKTA A2 CINEMAS, multiplex chain of one of India’s most esteemed film banners have been giving its audiences the best of on-screen entertainment. Spread across 12 properties and 33 screens in India today, MUKTA A2 CINEMAS provides state-of-the-art technology and cinematic experience for all movie lovers. With the endeavor of providing the audience with wholesome entertainment, the brand is all set to give back to the society through their Corporate Social Responsibility programs. Taking the thought ahead, the multiplex chain has associated with Sounds of Silence Foundation (SOS), a non-profit organization to celebrate World Disability Day on 3rd December.

Mukta A2 Cinemas aims to create awareness about the benefits of integrating disabled persons into every aspect of life, from economic, to social and cultural. To support the cause, Mukta A2 Cinemas in integration with the F&B services of the company have curated a Special Food and Beverage Combo for the next 2 months. An allotted percentage of proceeds of the combo will be donated towards the education of children with hearing and speech impairment.

Properties of Ahmedabad, Baroda, Kundli, Rajpipla, Banswara, Sangli, Mumbai, Bhopal, Vishakhapatnam, Gulbarga & Hyderabad will have this special combo served for two months starting December 3rd. The Cinema brand will also be allowing them to put up kiosks and sell their products at the counter.

Rahul Puri, Managing Director, Mukta Arts Ltd says, “We at Mukta A2 Cinemas believe in entertainment for all and want every movie lover to enjoy the cinematic experience. It is also our responsibility to give back to our audience, their families and the community. We are extremely happy to be associated with SOS for World Disability Day and support them in setting up India’s first NGO to help educate hearing impaired with the help of technology. We will have special combos for 2 months and some percentage of proceeds will be donated to SOS foundation. The combos will be available in majority of our flagship properties.”

In the past, Mukta A2 Cinemas has also organized a special screening of the film Shamitabh for 100 kids from the SOS Foundation, and donated a substantial proportion of the proceeds to the NGO that the company had received from the sales of the special Combo meals created for the film, Shamitabh.  MUKTA A2 CINEMAS will continue to initiate more such programs for the society.
