Maheshwer Peri bids adieu to Outlook; Indranil Roy to take over Peri's role

Maheshwer Peri, President, Publisher & CEO, Outlook Publishing India has decided to move on from the company in March 2012, after completing his tenure with Outlook which spanned over 16 years.

Maheshwer Peri would be further associated with the company in a consulting role. With this Outlook group has made changes at the Top management level.

Peri had taken this decision to turn his attention completely to his publishing venture 'Pathfinders' that currently publishes titles such as "Careers 360' and "Education 360'. While Peri had launched Pathfinders in 2009, he continued with the top job at Outlook.

"It was about time Peri dedicated himself completely to his venture ' no job can be part time anymore. His role in Outlook will become more of a mentor now and he look forward to be able to grow Pathfinders further in the year." Said sources.

An official communication was sent out Peri's office to all the business partners as well as to the senior partner's about Maheshwer Peri's decision of moving out. People in the organisation were speculating it for sometime now.

Outlook Group has elevated Indranil Roy, who has been with the company since 1996. Roy currently is in the role of President, Outlook Group and is now all set to take Peri's responsibilities.

According to the sources, "Indranil Roy who is based out of Outlook's Mumbai office, would be re-locating to Delhi and two senior team members of Roy will take over the responsibilities for Mumbai Office."
