INDIA TV announces Hemant Sharma's resignation

India TV announced that Hemant Sharma, News Director, India TV has decided to take a sabbatical from his career.

Confirming the news, India TV Chairman , Rajat Sharma, said, "Hemant has had a long journey with India TV and our best wishes are with him, always".

Hemant Sharma, said, "I have decided to take a sabbatical from my long career for my first love of writing, but I will always be available to India TV."

Before joining India TV, Sharma was working as Bureau Chief in Lucknow for a prominent Delhi base newspaper. Sharma has also authored a book on the subject ‘Dwitiyo Nasti’. He has also been Felicitated with prestigious Yash Bharat Award by the Uttar Pradesh Government for his contribution to journalism.
