How was GoaFest 2011 for you?

As the industry celebrated the good times and learnings, Adgully caught up with industry leaders amidst the hustle and bustle and asked them – How was GoaFest 2011 for them? And this is what they had to say-

KS Chakravarthy (Chax), National Creative Director, Draftfcb Ulka:

I think it is better organised this time. I personally do not agree with having international speakers. Most of the speakers who are here are for their agenda not ours, so I do not know why we still under-estimate ourselves. GoaFest is meant to be for the youngsters, the few top leaders can fly anywhere in the world, the fest is meant for youngsters to unwind, display their creativity and learn some more.

Subhash Kamath, Managing Partner, BBH India:

The participation is 2,800 people this time, which is very good and I think the energy is good. I think the property is big this time, the layout is different, we have ASCI joining us and we have got the Olive Crown Awards this time.

P.Sridhar, Chief General Manager, Sakshi:

Our team of 12 people have enjoyed the event very much. The seminars were good, the food could have been better organised. Moreover I think compared to last year participation has been low.

I Venkat, Director, Eenadu:

GoaFest 2011 has been good and fun, participation has been good and I am looking forward to listen to the speakers.

Suresh Shah, Vice-President- Investments, Allied Media:

They have done a very good job at managing the event this time. In terms of speakers and turn out too the event is quite well-managed.
