The 17th edition of the coveted Emvies 2017 saw Mindshare India walk away with the Media Agency of the Year award. Star India and Vodafone India were adjudged Media Client of the Year. Madison Media and Asian Paints won the Grand Emvie for Best Media Innovation – Digital – Search.

The Emvies 2017 championed the best of the best in creativity, effectiveness and marketing. Adjudged by a distinguished jury of around 211 industry leaders through intensive judging sessions across the country, the jury process is one of the broadest and inclusive. With over 816 entries, the awards have continued to grow in scale and strength, emerging as the gold standard amongst media awards recognising path-breaking brand campaigns and innovations.

A chapter of The Advertising Club (TAC India), the awards were held in Mumbai and saw the best of industry stalwarts and visionaries come together to celebrate the industry’s success.

Winners Speak

Shekhar Banerjee, COO – Madison Media (Best Case Study presented on 6 October, 2017 for Asian Paints Corporate):

“We are very proud of it. It is one of the most awarded cases in the country because globally also it has received a lot of awards. With this we have lined up a lot many case studies bigger than this.”

Navin Khemka, Managing Partner – North & East, Maxus India:

“I didn’t expect 11 awards for Maxus this year. The best part is that we have received the trophy for the best team, which really shows that the efforts put across by the team are phenomenal. The key thing is that the awards are not just for one client, but across all the other key clients. We are entering a new era now and are expecting that next year we will be the best agency of the year!”

Tarun Katial, Chief Executive Officer, Big FM and OTT Content, BIG Channels and Essel Vision Production at Z Entertainment, and TedX speaker:

“It’s the second year that we have been awarded at the Emvies. It really shows the kind of integral work we do, which gets appreciated across the forums. We would also like to thank our clients as well agency partners who actually give us the opportunity to do more path breaking work.”
