BARC Wk 41 ratings: Zee gains grounds; Super Dancer 2 in Top 5 shows

BARC ratings for Week 41 (October 7-13) [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] saw Zee TV gain grounds to return to the second position. Sony Entertainment Television saw success with ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ and ‘Super Dancer Chapter 2’ featuring among the most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban. 

Zee Anmol held on to its numero uno position among the Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban in Week 41 as well, garnering a gross viewership of 757,146, a decline from 786,847 recorded last week. 

After slipping a couple of notches to No. 4 in Week 40, Zee TV returned to its No. 2 spot this week, garnering a gross viewership of 656,892, an increase from 616,889 recorded last week. ‘Kundali Bhagya’ was back as the most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban with 11,638 Impressions (000s). ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ claimed the second spot with 10,788 Impressions (000s). 

Star Bharat (formerly Life OK) remained in the third spot this week, garnering a gross viewership of 634922, an increase from 624,082 recorded in Week 40. 

Colors, which saw major gains in Week 40, reaching No. 2, slid a couple of notches this week to the fourth spot. The channel reported a gross viewership of 609,841, a decline from 626,274 recorded last week. 

Sony Entertainment Television, which had climbed up to the fifth spot last week, continued in this position in Week 41 as well. The channel has been doing well on the back of its non-fiction shows, garnering a gross viewership of 565,636, compared to 604,669 recorded in Week 40. ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ was the third most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban with 10,167 Impressions (000s). ‘Super Dancer Chapter 2’ made an entry in the list at No. 5 with 9,032 Impressions (000s). 

Continuing in the sixth spot in Week 41, Sony Pal garnered a gross viewership of 526,821, a decline from 546,386 recorded last week. 

Star Plus, which had dropped to the seventh spot in Week 40, continued in this position this week as well. The channel registered a gross viewership of 485,656, a decline from 507,172 recorded last week. 

With a gross viewership of 354,597, Sony SAB climbed up a notch to No. 8 in Week 41. The channel had registered a gross viewership of 358,913 last week. 

Star Utsav, too, climbed up a notch to No. 9, garnering a gross viewership of 320,306 in Week 41, compared to 345,438 recorded last week. 

Rishtey, meanwhile, slid a couple of notches to the tenth spot this week, garnering a gross viewership of 301,051, a decline from 371,110 recorded in Week 40. 

Though the channel is not amongst the top 10 Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban in Week 41, the India-Australia Paytm T-20 match aired on DD National was fourth most watched show with 10,054 Impressions (000s).
