BARC Wk 30 ratings: Zee Anmol surges ahead to claim No. 1 spot

BARC ratings for Week 30 (July 22-28) [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 2+ Individuals] saw Zee Anmol surging ahead to be placed at No. 1 for the first time since BARC ratings came into being. Meanwhile, Star Plus, slid to the third spot from No. 1 last week. Reality show, ‘Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi – Pain in Spain’, on Colors entered the list of most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban this week. 

Zee Anmol moved past Star Plus and Zee TV to reach the numero uno spot in Week 30, the first time the channel has reached this spot since the launch of BARC ratings. The channel was placed in the third spot last week. Zee Anmol saw a jump in its gross viewership – from 612,945 in Week 29 to 691,174 this week. 

Zee TV continued to be placed at No. 2 in Week 30 as well, garnering a gross viewership of 657,927, an increase from 632,048 recorded last week. Three of its shows continue to be amongst the most watched shows on Hindi GECs. Talent hunt show ‘Amul Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs’ continued to top the charts this week as well with 12,984 Impressions (000s). ‘Kundali Bhagya’, the spin-off show of ‘Kumkum Bhagya’, climbed up to the third spot with 10,662 Impressions (000s), while ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ slid to the fifth spot with 9,514 Impressions (000s). 

Star Plus, meanwhile, slid two notches to the third spot in Week 30, garnering a gross viewership of 599,698, a decline from 632,153 recorded last week. 

Rishtey remained in the fourth spot this week, garnering a gross viewership of 591124, a slight increase from 589,493 recorded in Week 29. Re-run of ‘Naagin – Season 2’ on the channel was placed at No. 2 with 11,748 Impressions (000s). 

Colors climbed up a notch to No. 5 in Week 30, with the channel garnering a gross viewership of 584,758, an increase from 504,216 recorded last week. Reality show, ‘Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi – Pain in Spain’, made an entry to the list of most watched shows on Hindi GECs in Rural+Urban at No. 4 with 10,390 Impressions (000s). 

Sony Pal, on the other hand, slipped a notch to the sixth spot, witnessing a decline in its gross viewership – from 573,002 in Week 29 to 535,351 this week. 

Sony Entertainment Television continued at No. 7 in Week 30, garnering a gross viewership of 393,811, compared to 399,377 recorded last week. 

Sony SAB, Life OK and Star Utsav continued in No. 8, No. 9 and No. 10 positions, respectively, in Week 30. 

Sony SAB saw a slight decline in its gross viewership this week – from 389,089 in Week 29 to 382,623 this week. 

Life OK’s gross viewership was recorded at 351,570 in Week 30, as against 366,170 last week; while Star Utsav saw an increase in its gross viewership to 291,429 from 281,863 recorded in Week 29.
