Asianet Middle East channel got officially launched by Mega Star Mammootty

Asianet Middle East 24/7 ' it is a new Malayalm Satellite Television Channel exclusively for expatriate keralites.

Mammootty was also felicitated by K. Madhavan, Managing Director, Asianet Communications Ltd for winning the best actor award in State Film Awards. The guest list also included - Dr. B.R.Shetty, Managing Director, UAE Exchange; Sunny Varkey, Chairman, Jems Group; Dr. Gulfar Mohammadali, Joy Alukkas along with other prominent industrialists were also present during the occasion. Gazal concert by Jithesh and team added extra color to this auspicious occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Mammootty said, "Malayalees are so concerned and bothered of what's happening in and around them and the present launch of exclusive Channel really gives lot of hopes and aspiration to Malayali expatriates in the Middle East."

K. Madhavan further added that viewers in the Middle East can watch new blockbuster movies and all the weekend shows on Fridays instead of having to miss them on Sundays.

The new dedicated 24x7 channel will structure its mainline programming schedule to suit prime time, as per the time zone in the Middle East. The timing of other popular programmes will also be structured to suit viewers in the MiddleEast.

Now, Asianet Middle East Channel will telecast lot of variety entertainment programmes exclusively for Middle East viewers which include - reality shows in the lines of Star Singer.
